Connect a card to eScrip.com. (http://escrip NULL.com)

Register your Safeway card, major credit, and/or Macy’s card on eScrip.com (http://escrip NULL.com). eScrip will donate 2%–10% of your everyday purchases at hundreds of groceries and stores to our school. Just spend ten minutes signing up:

1. Have your credit cards and Safeway card on hand, then go to eScrip.com (http://escrip NULL.com)
2. Click on Sign Up – It’s Free!
3. Select the Group ID radio button and in the text box enter the number 6573711, then click Search
4. Click on the Starr King Elementary School link
5. Enter your info and in a few more steps you’re done!

To check the status of your eScrip account anytime, log on to eScrip.com (http://escrip NULL.com), and click on my eScrip in the menu on top.

Already an eScrip member? You can add Starr King to your list of groups! Just sign in at my eScrip, follow the Account Administration link, then click on the Group Selection link.

Note on Safeway Cards: To register your Safeway card on eScrip, you must have the number on the face of the red card that was issued to you. If you have lost your card, call 877.723.3929 and ask them to use your phone number to find your card number.

Whole Foods shopper? If you shop at Whole Foods and pay with a credit or debit card, you can register that card on eScrip.com and pick up 3% on all Whole Foods purchases.

While we all love Trader Joe’s and Costco, they do not participate in the eScrip program. But even if you shop infrequently at Safeway and Whole Foods, every little bit helps!

Just by going through the shopping.escrip.com (http://shopping NULL.escrip NULL.com/) portal to get to merchant websites, Starr King can earn up to 16.8% from more than 800 online stores such as Ace Hardware, Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble, Expedia, Gap, Lands’ End, Old Navy, and more!

TIP: After signing in to eScrip, going to the eScrip online mall, and clicking through to a site such as Amazon, you can bookmark the store’s home page for future shopping without having to go through all that rigamarole (the link should end with an eScrip tracking code such as http://amazon.com/?tag=loyal21787-20).

When you use scrip to pay for your groceries, Starr King earns 10% at no additional cost to you. Think of it as a prepaid grocery/restaurant purchase with a nice commission to the school.

1. Buy scrip from Maureen Persico (she’s usually at school every morning and for pickup at 5:30) in multiples of $20 and $50 (make checks payable to STARR KING PTA)
2. Go shopping at Rainbow (http://www NULL.rainbow NULL.coop/), Good Life (http://www NULL.yelp NULL.com/biz/good-life-grocery-san-francisco-2), or Canyon Market (http://www NULL.canyonmarket NULL.com/), or get some tasty pizza at Goat Hill (http://goathill NULL.com/).
3. Use scrip to pay for your purchase

Purchase books and more from Book Passage (http://bookpassage NULL.com/), both in-store and online.

Book Passage contributes five percent of all purchases to our library. In the San Francisco or Corte Madera stores, mention Starr King to the cashier. When shopping online at bookpassage.com (http://bookpassage NULL.com/), put “Starr King (customer #100)” in the comments box on the payment page. At the end of each quarter, the school will get a gift certificate to purchase books for the library.

Get some gear at Sports Basement (http://www NULL.sportsbasement NULL.com/)—remember to mention Starr King.

Just mention Starr King at checkout and get 10% off your purchase PLUS 5% donated to the school. This is a brand new year-round program for schools and applies at both the Potrero Hill and Presidio locations.

Get school supplies at Office Depot.

5% Back to School Program: When you shop at Office Depot for school supplies, just tell the person at the register that you want to donate 5% of your purchase to Starr King, ID# 7001-3997. They will take care of it for you. This program runs periodically throughout the year, but just get into the habit of asking every time.

Get a Target REDcard and enroll in Take Charge of Education using our school ID #:35332.

If you apply for a Target credit or debit card and enroll in Target’s Take Charge of Education program (https://sites NULL.target NULL.com/site/en/corporate/page NULL.jsp?contentId=PRD03-005158), Starr King will earn 1% of your Target or target.com purchases (½% of non-Target purchases on a Target Visa credit card). Starr King’s Target School ID number is 35332.

Box tops and Campbell’s Soup labels.

Campbell’s Labels for Education: Tear the labels off of a huge number of Campbell food products and bring them to school. This includes all Campbell’s soups, Franco-American and Pepperidge Farm products, V8 beverages, Prego pasta sauces and Goldfish! General Mills Box Tops for Education: Like the Campbell’s program, all you have to do it tear off the “Box Tops for Education” logos and bring them to school. You will find them on the following products: all General Mills Cereals (Cheerios, etc.); Gogurt, Hamburger Helper, Old El Paso, Nature Valley Granola Bars, Bisquick, Ziploc, Kleenex products, and Hefty garbage bags, among many others.
